2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the cancellation of his appointment as Panchayat Teacher by the respondent no.4/ the Block Development Officer-cum-Member Secretary, Block Teacher Selection Unit, Chausa, Madhepura.

3. Learned counsel for the respondent-State by referring to the Bihar Panchayat Elementary Teachers (Appointment and Service Conditions) Rules, 2012 submits that under Rule 16 of the aforesaid Rules, 2012, the petitioner has an alternative remedy to file an appeal before the District Appellate Authority.

4. Since, the petitioner has a statutory alternative
