This is the third attempt of the petitioner to renew his prayer for regular bail in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No. 21 of 2020 registered for the offences punishable under Section 120(B)/302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. He is in custody since 16.03.2020. He has got four criminal antecedents and in all the cases he is on bail as per paragraph '3' of the application.

This Court had earlier called for a report from the learned trial court as to the present stage of trial and the time likely to be taken in conclusion thereof. The trial court has vide its Letter No. 85 dated 1st May, 2023 informed this Court that the case is pending at the stage of argument of prosecution and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45654 of 2022(4) dt.21-06-2023 2/2 the argument is going on. The trial court is expecting the conclusion of the trial within a period of four months. In the aforesaid view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is, thus, refused.

The learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within the aforesaid period.
