This application for regular bail arises out of Madhuban P.S. Case No. 14 of 2020, disclosing offence punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. With the allegation that 1171 litres of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered from the petitioner's house, the petitioner has been made accused. He is in custody since 23.06.2020. His prayer for grant of regular bail was earlier rejected by an order dated 15.01.2021, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 31605 of 2020.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that

Considering the nature of accusation and the fact that petitioner has remained in custody since 23.06.2020, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount, each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise Act, East Champaran at Motihari, in Madhuban P.S.
