The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Ara Town PS Case No. 472/2015 registered under Sections 307, 354 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant alleged that while his wife was sleeping in another house, the petitioner caught her and put her down on the ground in order to outrage her modesty. It is submitted that thereafter other accused persons came and assaulted the informant and others.

Sri Mahesh Narain Parbat, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the case has been compromised. The petitioner is a neighbour of the informant. The injuries sustained by the injured are simple in nature. Other accused persons have already been enlarged on regular bail by the court below itself.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12353 of 2016 (6) dt.05-07-2016 2/2 Considering the fact that the case has been compromised and other accused persons have already been enlarged on regular bail, the above named petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order and may prayer for regular bail. The learned court below shall consider the bail petition of the petitioner on the same day taking into consideration that the case has been compromised and other accused persons have already been enlarged on regular bail. With the above observation, this Anticipatory Bail Petition is disposed of.
