The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sikandara P.S. Case No. 73 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 272, 273, 467, 468, 471 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30, 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Prohibition Act, 2016.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, the petitioner has not been named in the F.I.R. and his name has transpired in this case on the basis of confession of the co-accused. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the, above named, petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, II, Jamui in connection with Sikandara P.S.
