The petitioner has approached this Court seeking direction upon the respondent-authorities to mutate the name of the petitioner in place of his deceased father over the land, in question, and accept the rent and grant rent receipt for the same. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the land, in question, bearing Thana No. 338, Tauzi No. 659, Khata No. 124, Khesara No. 279, measuring area of 1 bigha, 10 dhur along with other lands, in fact, were auction purchased by the ancestor

Patna High Court CWJC No.14730 of 2016 dt.09-07-2024 2/3 of the petitioner sometime in the year 1917, part of which have came into peaceful possession of the father of the petitioner. The father of the petitioner, having two brothers, got their lands partitioned and 1 bigha, 2 katha 6 dhur land come into possession of his father. It is further stated that the father of the petitioner also started paying holding tax and copy of one of such receipts is enclosed as Annexure-1 to the writ petition. 4.

It is next submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that after death of petitioner's father, the petitioner approached the Karmchari of Begusarai Anchal for mutating his name in place of his father and for acceptance of rent and grant of rent receipt in his name but, the same was ignored by making one excuse or other. He submits that the petitioner has moved several authorities for redressal of his grievance but, the same has not been redressed as yet.

In view of the aforesaid, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file a fresh representation alongwith all the relevant documents before the Circle Officer, Begusarai (Respondent no.5) who will consider the case of the petitioner and dispose of the same in accordance with law by passing a reasoned order in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of filing of representation along

With the aforesaid direction, this writ application stands disposed of.
