2. The present application has been filed for modification of order dated 12.05.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 13529 of 2025 to the extent of extending the period of surrender.
3. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that in the original petition, only one criminal antecedent was indicated but, after the verification of the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, it appears that the petitioner is accused in more case, which is under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018 in which the petitioner has already been granted bail. As a matter of fact, the petitioner was made accused in this case after filing of the original application i.e. Cr.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45879 of 2025(2) dt.11-07-2025 2/2 Misc. No.13529 of 2025.
4. In such view of the matter, the period of surrender is extended by four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in connection with Buxar (Industrial) P.S. Case No. 150 of 2024.
5. The order dated 12.05.2025 is modified to the extent as indicated above.
6. Accordingly, this modification application stands disposed of.
