The petitioner has prayed for the following relief/s :-

3/4 From the affidavit filed on behalf of the State, it is apparent that the amount as Gratuitous Relief Fund stands released in favour of 16869 families/beneficiaries. Averments made in paragraph no. 7 of the counter affidavit dated 27.10.2021 are extracted as under :- "7. that after going through all the formalities and process Gratuitous Relief fund i.e. 6000 Rs./- were transferred in the account of 16869 needed beneficiaries persons/family through D.B.T. in their respective Bank accounts and the sum of Rs.101,214,400/- were transferred in favour of affected persons/beneficiaries and this writ application has lost its relevancy."

In our considered view, the present petition has outlived its purpose, inasmuch as, the relief already stands disbursed to the rightful claimants. However, should there be any grievance surviving in future, it is open for the petitioner to approach respondent No.6, namely, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Sonepur Subdivision Chhapra, who shall deal with the issue and take appropriate decision and action as and when brought to his notice.

The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
