2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Sirdala P.S. Case No. 371 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 78, 351(2), 352 of the BNS AND 66(E), 67, 67(A) OF IT Act.
3. The allegation in the FIR is that the petitioner, who is the brother-in-law(jija) of the informant, uploaded the informant's mobile phone number and photographs on Facebook on 10.09.2025. Consequently, the informant received several abusive and objectionable calls from unknown persons using filthy language. It is further alleged that when the informant submitted an application to the police on 29.05.2025,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45593 of 2026(2) dt.20-07-2026 2/2 the petitioner intercepted, abused and physically assaulted the informant at Rajauli stand, threatening to upload more objectionable photographs to destroy the informant's career.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners that he has been falsely implicated due to family dispute and further submits that a matrimonial divorce case is going on between petitioner and sister of informant.
5. Learned APP opposed the prayer of bail vehemently. He has pointed out that the present FIR is of 2025 whereas the said matrimonial case between the petitioner and sister of informant is of 2026. As such, there is no question of false implication by informant of the petitioner.
6. Considering the submission of parties and looking into gravity of offence resulting in tarnishing reputation of an innocent girl. This Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail, accordingly this bail application stands dismissed.
