JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 10-04-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- " I) Pass an appropriate writ/ order/ direction directing that the respondent (s) reimburse the petitioner for construction of a Gabion Wall along the perimeter of the petitioner school at Government rates;

ii) Pass an appropriate writ/ order/ direction directing that the respondents to pay

Patna High Court CWJC No.19923 of 2016(2) dt.10-04-2023 2/2 compensation to the petitioner no.1 school @ Rs. 2 lacs per day from 23rd July 2016 till 30th September 2016 i.e. the time period where in the petitioner was spending the aforesaid amounts to drain out the river water from the school precincts along with direction to the respondents to pay exemplary damages to the petitioners as this Court deems fit including the payment of the litigation cost incurred by the petitioner school. Direct a respondents to conduct a departmental inquiry as to why the anti erosion works carried out were breached within a year of their construction/work being done."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of its aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
