The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Kudra P.S. Case No. 299 of 2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 326, 498(A) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are mother-in-law, sister-in-law and brother-in-law of the deceased. The deceased, herself, lodged the case after 15 days of the occurrence, thereafter her parents and others took her to Mohania hospital for treatment in the clinic of Dr. Avinash Singh. The victim died after 15 days from the date of institution of the case. It is further submitted that father-in-law of the deceased has

The petitioners have no manner of concern with the family affairs of the deceased and her husband, but from perusal of the FIR, itself, it appears that the victim made specific allegation against the petitioners that they all assaulted her and ignited fire after sprinkling kerosene oil on her body and she became unconscious. She got conscious in the clinic of Dr. Avinash Singh and thereafter lodged the case. The victim died later on.

Considering the nature of allegations made against the petitioners, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J.) KKSINHA/- U T
