This application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed for quashing of First Information Report of Bettiah Town P.S. Case No. 250 of 2014 registered for the offence under Sections 364, 302, 201, 465, 468 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Report was called for from the court below which has been received. The learned Magistrate has mentioned in the report that the case is still pending for investigation by police. 3.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The informant has alleged in the written report that
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13172 of 2015 dt.02-07-2018 2/2 his father went missing and he did not return. 5.
In such circumstances, this Court feels that matter require proper investigation.

The police is directed to complete the investigation and submit report in terms of Section 173 Cr. P.C. within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order. 7.
Let this order be communicated to the District & Sessions Judge, West Champaran, Bettiah, for its onward transmission to Superintendent of Police, Bettiah, for necessary compliance by Investigating Officer of the case.

This Criminal Miscellaneous application is accordingly disposed off.
