JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 26-05-2022 Heard learned Advocate for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Majorganj P.S. Case No. 107 of 2021 dated 28.06.2021 instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

245.100 liters of liquor is said to have been recovered from a vehicle which was being driven by the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he had no idea that his employer had loaded the aforesaid consignment of liquor in the vehicle.

The petitioner has clean antecedents and is in custody since 29.06.2021.

No.55428 of 2021(2) dt.26-05-2022 2/2 Regard being had to the period of custody and the nature of accusation against the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District Judge II cum Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi in connection with Majorganj P.S. Case No. 107 of 2021.
