JUSTICE SUNIL KUMAR PANWAR ORAL ORDER 28-06-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned senior counsel for the informant and learned APP for the State. The instant application for anticipatory bail has been filed by the petitioner apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1049 (c) of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 498A of the IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Earlier bail petition of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 20.11.2019 in which the Court was of the opinion that the petitioner has no intention of amicable settlement and clearly wants to avoid his marital duty and commitment, taking shelter of the divorce case said to have been filed by him.
