Patna High Court CWJC No.1901 of 2015 dt.14-05-2018 2/2 that the individual writ petitioners are claiming their regular promotion as District Panchayat Raj Officer under the Bihar Panchayat Service Rules, 2010 which has been notified under notification no. 1939 dated 12.03.2010 and since the admissibility of the claims of the petitioners has to be examined by the respondent no. 4, the petitioners would be filing their individual comprehensive representation stating their claim for regular promotion. In view of the limited nature of prayer made by the petitioners, the writ petition is being disposed off. Upon such representation being filed by the individual petitioners within a period of one month, the respondent no. 4 may take a final decision regarding the admissibility of the petitioners' claim with reference to their regular promotion as above.
Since the matter has been pending such a long time it would be in the interest of justice that the respondent no. 4 may take a final decision with respect to petitioners' claim within a period of six months from the date of filing of the representation. The writ petition is disposed off.
