2. The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Majhaulia P.S. Case No. 919 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 302, 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is the husband of the deceased and he is said to have killed his wife for demand of dowry.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is working as a Plumber in Jammu and Kashmir and because of matrimonial dispute, the deceased as committed suicide and this fact has also been supported by two sons of the petitioner and the deceased.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail.
6. Considering the serious allegations levelled against the petitioner of murdering his own wife, this Court is not inclined to grant the petitioner the privilege of anticipatory bail.
7. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
8. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below within four weeks from today and pray for regular bail. If the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within four weeks from today then his application for grant of regular bail shall be considered by the Court below in accordance with law and taking into consideration the statement of the sons of the petitioner recorded during investigation.
