JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 07-02-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. (i) That by way of this writ application, the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Hon'ble Court for issuance of appropriate writ/order/direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents to rectify the anomaly in pay fixation of the petitioner in accordance with the Circular No. 7577 dated 23.09.2016 issued by the Finance Department and to fix the pay after granting 3 annual increments, which has been fixed on 31.08.2012

Patna High Court CWJC No.16596 of 2021(2) dt.07-02-2024 2/2 after granting two increments only.

(ii) To issue writ / order / direction upon the respondents to give benefit of annual increment, while granting A.C.P. in accordance with Circular No.

7577/(F) dated 23.09.2016 issued by the Finance Department, Government of Bihar, Patna."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner has now been granted all the requisite benefits required to be granted to him, however, only one increment is left to be granted to the petitioner, while calculating the benefits of MACP, hence he be granted liberty to approach the respondents for rectification of the said anomaly. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
