The petitioner apprehends his arrest in G.R.P. Patna Junction P.S. Case No. 242 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant alleged that a boy boarded the train but a lady cried out that the boy fled away after snatching her chain. On chase the boy was apprehended and he disclosed that Sanjay Chaudhary @ Sanjay Kumar, the petitioner as his accomplice. Mr. Gajendra Kumar Jha, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that name of the petitioner figured in the case in the disclosure made by the apprehended accused but nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16231 of 2017 (2) dt.27-04-2017 2/2 petitioner was not apprehended at any platform of the railway station but, it appears that the boy who fled away after snatching the chain from a woman disclosed the name of the petitioner and the petitioner has got criminal antecedent.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
