The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Bahadurganj P. S. Case No. 171 of 2020, dated 17.06.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 308, 354, 379, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation against the petitioner and others is of assaulting the informant and also pressing her neck. The informant was also divested of her personal belongings.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1266 of 2021(2) dt.02-07-2021 2/3 The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he is a daily wage-earner and is working in Delhi. Because of the land dispute which was continuing from before, he has been made accused in this case.

The injury suffered by the informant appears to have been caused in a different transaction but taking advantage of the aforesaid injury, the present case has been lodged.

Some of the other accused persons of this case have been granted anticipatory bail by different Benches of this Court.

Considering the afore-noted submissions, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to
