The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Bihar P.S. Case No. 262 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Section 420 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. It is submitted that petitioner is not named in the FIR. Name of petitioner transpired in this case during course of investigation on suspicion. The informant in her statement under Section 164 has not made any allegation against petitioner. Specific allegation of cheating the informant on the pretext of providing job is against co-accused Sujeet Kumar who is fatherin-law of the petitioner and he has been granted bail by the Court vide order dated 12.05.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 46274 of 2021. Petitioner claims clean antecedents.
