The present petition is by way of second attempt at the behest of the petitioner for grant of regular bail in connection with Bairiya P.S. Case No. 325 of 2019 for the offence punishable under sections 20/22/23/24/25/27A/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

At the outset, the Ld. Counsel for the petitioner simply seeks a direction upon the learned court below to expedite the trial.

Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of as not pressed, however, the learned court of Additional Sessions Judge-III, Bettiah, West Champaran is directed to expedite the proceedings in connection with Trial No. 20 of 2020 (C.I.S. 44/2021) arising out of Bairiya P.S. Case No. 325 of 2019 and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.54964 of 2021(2) dt.27-10-2021 2/2 conclude the trial preferably within a period of one year from today.
