The petitioner who is in custody since 23.11.2018 has filed the instant application for grant of bail in connection with Patrakar Nagar P.S. Case No. 690 of 2018 (District Patna) registered for the offence punishable under sections 20,22 and 24 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

As per the allegation in the FIR, the police on receiving information reached the park from where the accused persons including this petitioner attempted to escape but were caught. It further transpires that on being searched 13 sachets of brown sugar from the possession of the petitioner has been recovered. It further transpires from the record that three co-

No. 16145 of 2019, order dated 26.03.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 16771 of 2019 and order dated 05.03.2019 in Cr. Misc. No. 12553 of 2019. The petitioner is in custody since 23.11.2018. Charge sheet has been submitted in the case and the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

The application for bail has been opposed by learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the above facts, the Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge N.D.P.S -cum-Additional Sessions Judge IVth, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 135 of 2018 arising out of Patrakar Nagar P.S. Case No. 690 of 2018 (District Patna).
