2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Laheriasarai P.S. Case No. 444/2024 dated 18.08.2024 registered for the offence punishable u/s 406, 420, 467, 468, 471 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the land which was in the name of the informant was sold by the petitioner, Girindra Kumar Singh on 25.05.2018 to Smt. Rinku Kumari and in column No.5 of the said sale deed, the accused had stated that he got the said piece of land from Partition Suit No.78/2000. The description of land and the boundary land is also wrongly
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47801 of 2025(2) dt.22-07-2025 2/3 mentioned in the said sale deed which was executed on 25.05.2018 is also wrong. It is further stated that one Shankar Shah became the witness of the disputed sale deed knowingly.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It is a case of civil dispute. The petitioner is brotherin-law of the informant. It is further submitted that the land in question which was in the name of Late Sriman Narayan Singh was decided in Partition Suit No.78/2008. It is further stated that the informant was never given power of attorney by the title holder and he wants to grab the entire land. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner has seven antecedents as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 02.03.2025.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Darbhanga in connection with Laheriasarai P.S. Case
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47801 of 2025(2) dt.22-07-2025 3/3 No. 444/2024, with the condition ;- (i). The petitioner is directed to remain physically present before the learned Court below on each and every date, failing which on two consecutive dates without reasonable cause, the bail bond of the petitioner is liable to be cancelled.
