JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 04-07-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is aggrieved by non-payment of salary. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is regularly working as Panchayat Teacher since 29.06.2012, but he has not been paid salary. He further submits that the matter was taken to the District Teachers Appellate Authority, Nalanda vide Appeal No. 01 of 2017 and the Appellate Authority has also passed order in favour of the petitioner for payment of salary, yet the respondents have not paid salary.

Patna High Court CWJC No.13372 of 2019(2) dt.04-07-2019 2/2 Under the aforesaid circumstances, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to ensure payment of salary to the petitioner within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. If payment is not made within the time indicated herein above, the petitioner shall be entitled to payment of interest at the rate of 9% from the date of accrual till the date of actual payment. The interest component shall be realized by the respondents District Education Officer and the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Nalanda.

With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
