The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bahadurganj P.S. Case No. 159 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 393 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner was caught snatching the raincoat, which they thought was money. The petitioners are in custody since 26.05.2023.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46371 of 2023(2) dt.28-07-2023 2/2 after completing one year in custody, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kishanganj in connection with Bahadurganj P.S. Case No. 159 of 2023.

The petitioner will visit concerned Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
