26-07-2017 Heard Sri Pratap Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.C. to Govt. Pleader - 7. The present petition has been filed with a prayer to initiate contempt proceeding against opposite parties on an allegation of wilful disobedience to an order dated 08-09-2015 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 4935 of 2015. By the said order, this Court had disposed of the writ petition granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the House Controller and file appropriate petition for disposal of the case. The said order was passed due to the reason that on appeal filed by the petitioner, the appropriate authority i.e. Collector, Bhagalpur had remanded back the matter to the House Controller.

Patna High Court MJC No.1770 of 2016 (3) dt.26-07-2017 2/2 In this case, show cause has been filed on behalf of opposite parties and stand has been taken that in compliance with the order of the writ court, the House Controller has finally decided the matter.

Learned counsel for the petitioner tried to persuade the Court to pass further direction.

The Court is of the opinion that in contempt proceeding, the Court is only required to examine as to whether order of the writ court has been complied with or not. Beyond that, there is no question to pass any further direction. The petition stands disposed of.
