The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 2522 of 2013, registered under Sections 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The accusation is torturing of complainant by her husband and other in-laws due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the mother-in-law of the complainant and she has falsely been implicated in this case.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16705 of 2017 (4) dt.09-05-2017 2/2 let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the S.D.J.M. Bhagalpur in connection with Compliant Case No. 2522 of 2013, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438
(2) of the Cr.P.C.
