JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 09-04-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the counsel appearing on behalf of the State as well as University. Considering the nature of grievance involved in the present writ application and the fact that main issue with regard to grant of promotion and consideration thereof is pending before the Hon'ble Chancellor.
It would be appropriate that the office of Hon'ble Chancellor may place the issue with regard grant of promotion of the petitioner before the Hon'ble Chancellor at the earliest so that decision may be taken by the Hon'ble Chancellor. The court hope and trust that the office of the
Patna High Court CWJC No.10409 of 2016(2) dt.09-04-2018 2/2 Chancellor will place the case of the petitioner before the Hon'ble Chancellor within a period of one month from the date of receipt/production of the copy of the order and Hon'ble Chancellor is requested to dispose of the petition filed by the petitioner considering the fact that pendency has led to a lot of complications and in order to avoid further complication, it would be appropriate if the Hon'ble Chancellor decides the case of the petitioner one way or the other expeditiously so that further complication in the matter of posting of Professor incharge, Head of Department may be obviated. With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
