Petitioners apprehend arrest in registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8/20(b) (ii) (c)/22/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. As per prosecution case, more than 20 kg Ganja has been recovered. Petitioners have been made accused on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. No incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he has been

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail application submitting that huge quantity of Ganja has been recovered and petitioner No. 2 has one criminal antecedent of similar nature.

Considering the aforesaid facts, prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused with direction to surrender and seek regular bail which would be considered and disposed of on its own merit without prejudice.
