Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 370, 370-a, 372, 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the informant got information that petitioner on his mobile phone showing photos of two girls and negotiating for selling them. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the case. It is further submitted that petitioner has been made accused in this case only on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused, Akib Reza, who was apprehended with two girls.

No.45398 of 2022(11) dt.24-06-2023 2/2 It is next submitted that a few days back a dispute took place between the petitioner and Akib Reza and at his instance petitioner has been made accused in this case. On the date of occurrence petitioner was not present at Kishanganj. Mr. Rana Vikram Singh, learned counsel appearing for the Patliputra University, vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the facts of the case and nature of accusation against the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest/ surrender within a period of six weeks from today shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kishanganj in connection with Kishanganj PS case No. 567/ 2021, subject to conditions laid down u/s 438(2) of the Cr. P. C. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) BKS/- U T
