Mr.APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 25-11-2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in Sitamarhi P.S. Case No. 237/2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. This is a case in which the deceased died within four months of her marriage due to torture meted out by her in-laws and the entire family.

The post-mortem report also shows that she has died because of hanging.

It is being contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is only a Dewar and there is general and omnibus allegation against him and the husband is in jail. This kind of argument in a case where the girl has died within four months of her marriage will not cut ice in this

Though, the petitioner is a young member of the family, but he does not deserve anticipatory bail. Therefore, the prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail is, accordingly, rejected.
