JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL ORDER 07-07-2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State through virtual court proceedings. Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to remove the defects within three weeks of resumption of normal court proceeding. In the eventuality of non-removal of defects within undertaken period, the office will place the matter before the Bench.

The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 12.06.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 16965 of 2020 to the extent of extending the period of surrender to the petitioner in the court.

On the grounds mentioned in the modification

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9437 of 2021(2) dt.07-07-2021 2/2 application, the period of surrender is extended by four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 88 of 2019 pending in the court of learned Special Judge Excise Act, Muzaffarpur. The order dated 12.06.2020 is modified to the extent indicated above.

Accordingly, this modification application stands disposed of.
