JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 09-10-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs :- " (a) For quashing the Energy Bill dated 11.08.2014 by which the petitioner has been asked to pay a sum of Rs. 46,755/-.

(b) For a direction to the respondents to enquire as to whether the petitioner is residing in the house and using the electricity in any manner. (c) For a direction to the respondents to enquire further as to whether the house in which the electric Single DS-1B having Consumer ID

(d) For a direction to the respondents to do full and final assessment of the electric bill dated 11.08.2014."

2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly accepts that statutory remedy by approaching the CGRF is available under Section 42(5) of the Electricity Act for redressal of his grievances.

3. This Court therefore, is not inclined to enter into the merits of the matter. The writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the CGRF with an appropriate application for redressal of his grievances. If any such application is filed, the same shall be considered and disposed of in accordance with law.
