The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Danapur P.S. Case No. 229 of 2016 registered under Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 138 of the N.I. Act pending in the Court of A.C.J.M, Danapur. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. The fact is that the informant has misused the blank cheque given by the petitioner as a security amount. Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that paragraph nos. 5,6,7,8,23,27 and 29 of the case diary prima facie corroborates the allegation
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8387 of 2017 (3) dt.20-04-2017 2/2 leveled against the petitioner.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the State, I do not feel inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer for bail is, therefore, rejected.
