Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondents.

The petitioner claims to be wife of an employee of the Respondent-Corporation who has been traceless since 1999. The writ petition has now been filed in 2019 claiming retiral

Patna High Court CWJC No.15353 of 2019(3) dt.15-06-2020 2/2 dues treating the employee to be traceless under Section 108 of the Evidence Act. The petitioner's son has also earlier approached this Court by filing a writ petition claiming the benefit of compassionate appointment. CWJC No 7792 of 2012, filed by petitioner's son, was disposed of on 23.04.2012 with a direction to approach the Chief Engineer along with his application for grant of compassionate appointment. It is submitted by the petitioner's counsel that the said claim is still pending pursuant to the order passed in the writ petition. For non-compliance of the Writ Court's direction, a contempt application bearing MJC No 2351 of 2019 is still pending. The petitioner's counsel submits that she would approach the Respondent-Corporation in respect of her claim for retiral dues of her husband.

In view of the said submission, writ petition stands disposed of.
