The petitioner has filed this writ petition for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus and/or any other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the respondent no.3, the Additional Collector, Muzaffarpur before whom Land Ceiling Case No.175/76-77 is still pending, to dispose of the case.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Ceiling Case No.108/73-74 and Ceiling Case No.175/76-77 were initiated against late Rama Singh @ Rama Prasad Singh. The petitioner is Sabait of the Math. It is submitted that a direction be issued to the Additional Collector, Muzaffarpur to

Patna High Court CWJC No.17673 of 2015(2) dt.30-10-2018 2/2 dispose of the aforesaid ceiling cases.

The learned counsel for the State submits that if the ceiling cases are still pending before the Additional Collector, Muzaffarpur, the Additional Collector may be directed to dispose of the cases.

Having considered the submissions of both sides, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Additional Collector, Muzaffarpur to dispose of Ceiling Case No.108/73-74 and Ceiling Case No.175/76-77, if the same are pending within four months from the date of receipt of this order. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
