The present writ petition has been filed for setting aside the order dated 11.08.2015 (Annexure-6) passed by the Chairman of the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, SBPDCL, Vidyut Bhawan-II, Patna whereby respondent no. 7 without issuing notice to petitioner and without verifying the payment of his earlier
Patna High Court CWJC No.18730 of 2015 dt.06-11-2018 electric consumption charges after the death of petitioner's elder brother Sri P.K. Khare on 11.02.2011 who consumed electricity from his electric consumer meter no. 010102195726 amounting to Rs. 47,925/- till May, 2013; further for a direction to the respondents to cancel the new electric connection Account No. 010102579321 installed in the name of respondent no. 8 and to revive the electric connection account no. 010102195726 in the name of P.K. Khare after depositing the arrears of electric consumption charge of respondent no. 8 amounting to Rs. 47,925/- from 11.02.2011 till May, 2013.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly accepts that the writ petition has become infructuous and need not be pressed if liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities with an application for fresh electric connection for consideration in accordance with law.
