JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 27-11-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and counsel appearing on behalf of the State as well as University. The father of the petitioner was working as lecturer in college in Deo Shankar Haldhar Choudhary Sanskrit College, Chanpura ( Basaith) District- Madhubani. After sudden death of his father petitioner claims that he should be considered for compassionate appointment. The father of the petitioner was an employee of an affiliated college and not a constituent unit of the University. The court cannot issue any positive direction to

However, the Court expects that the Managing Committee of the Governing body of the college will consider the case of the petitioner sympathetic as a governing body of the college has also social responsibility. The governing body may take appropriate decision in the matter of compassionate appointment so that the petitioner may decide his further course of action. Decision in this regard may be taken at the earliest preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order.
