Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the application filed on behalf of petitioner No.1 Rehana Khatun and petitioner No.2 Firoz Ali.
In view of the above, the application filed on behalf of petitioner No.1 Rehana Khatun and petitioner No.2 Firoz Ali is dismissed as withdrawn.
The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 68 of 2016, registered under Section 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner No. 3 Khalid Ansari
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13372 of 2017 (3) dt.15-05-2017 2/2 @ Khalid Raza Ansari submits that it would appear from the F.I.R. that petitioner Khalid Ansari is only mediator in the settlement of the marriage of daughter of informant and son of co-accused Wasim Akram and he has no concerned in taking the dowry to the informant. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner Khalid Ansari @ Khalid Raza Ansari, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Patna Sadar in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No.68 of 2016, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
