The petitioner is in custody in connection with Ara Nawada P.S. Case No. 238 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 379 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 23.04.2019. He further submits that the petitioner was not named in the F.I.R. and his name surfaced in the confessional statement of co-accused Jitendra Chaudhary.
