JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 30-03-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Khirimore P.S. Case No. 22 of 2016 instituted for the offence under sections 304B/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is husband of the deceased.
As per allegation, the deceased was married with this petitioner about two years ago. Thereafter, she was tortured by her in-laws for demand of motorcycle in dowry. The informant tried to settle the dispute but on 10.5.2016 at about 10 a.m. he was informed that his daughter was murdered in her Sasural by this petitioner and other accused persons. The dead-body of her daughter was thrown in Punpun river. The informant went to house of her daughter but neither dead body of her daughter nor
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14572 of 2017 (2) dt.30-03-2017 2/2 petitioner or his family members were found in the house. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstance, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
