2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 483 and 484 of the BNS, 2023.

3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that the informant was in a relationship with this petitioner. It is alleged that the petitioner has given her a mobile phone and had established physical relations with her. It is further alleged that six months ago, the petitioner took her to his grandmother's house where he promised to marry her. It is also alleged that when the informant pressurized the petitioner for marriage, she was ousted from his house.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

No.46630 of 2025(3) dt.04-09-2025 2/3 victim has also given her statement under Section 183 of the BNSS wherein she has admitted that she was in a relationship with the petitioner and that they had physical relations. She has further stated that the petitioner had promised to marry her and that she still wishes to marry him as, according to her, he has spoiled her life. It is further submitted that the present case has been filed only with the intention of pressurizing the petitioner to marry the victim despite the fact that he is not yet of marriageable age, being only 20 years old. From the victim's own statement recorded under Section 183 of the BNSS, it is evident that she is willing to marry the petitioner which clearly indicates that this case has been filed only to exert pressure on him to marry. Admittedly both the petitioner and the victim are major and this is a case of relationship outside marriage between two major. Moreover, the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 04.04.2024.

5. Learned APP appearing for the state has opposed the prayer of regular bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Alamnagar P.S. Case No. 148 of 2024 on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46630 of 2025(3) dt.04-09-2025 3/3 furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ADJ-1st, Madhepura, Bihar.
