Patna High Court CWJC No.8759 of 2000 dt.10-08-2018 2/2 departmental authorities and it is submitted that in case, they approach the departmental authorities, the departmental authorities be directed to examine the claim of the petitioners and pass necessary orders.

In view of the aforesaid, the present writ petitions are disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to approach the Respondent No. 2 for grant of the benefits of 1st and 2nd time bound promotions and in case, they approach the Respondent No. 2 within a period of two weeks from today, the Respondent No. 2 shall consider the claim of the petitioners and pass a reasoned and speaking order within a period of four weeks thereafter.

As far as the petitioner of C.W.J.C. No. 8751 of 2000 is concerned, the shifting of the date of the time bound promotion already granted to him be also considered.

The present writ petitions are disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
