The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Baikunthpur P.S. Case No. 113 of 2021 dated 10.04.2021 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a)/41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.

From the raid conducted in the half constructed house of one Rajan Singh, 835 liters of liquor was recovered. Aforesaid Rajan Singh was arrested who disclosed the name of the petitioner also. As a result of such disclosure, the petitioner was remanded in this case from Baikunthpur P.S. Case No. 163 of 2021 on 18.08.2021 and since then he is in custody.

It has also been taken note that the person, from whose house recovery has been made, has been granted bail. Considering the nature of accusation and the period of custody of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cumSpecial Judge, Gopalganj in connection with Baikunthpur P.S. Case No. 113 of 2021.
