Heard learned counsel for the parties concerned. 2.

The present writ application has been filed for a direction to the respondents to make payment of Rs. 19,318/- to the petitioner, which has not been paid even after completion of 5-6 years of Evaluation Work of Intermediate Examination, 2016, performed by the petitioner at the instance of the Bihar School Examination Board, Patna (hereinafter referred to as "the Board"). Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is not disputed that petitioner has duly performed the evaluation of Physics paper of 10+2 examination, held in the year 2016. 4.

Learned counsel for the Board submits that the amount for payment of the Examiner/ Evaluator as per the standard of the Examination Board was sent to the Headmaster/ Centre Direction, Evaluation but the same has been misappropriated by the Headmaster and other teachers, for which, F.I.R. has been lodged by the Board. It is the case of the respondent- Board that petitioner was not involved in misappropriation/ defalcation of the amount. Learned counsel further submits that payment shall be made to the petitioner within two weeks.

Considering the submission of the parties, the writ application is disposed with a direction to the Board to pay the amount in question to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
