2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Parbatta (Bharat Khand) P.S. Case No. 12 of 2024 dated 09.01.2024 registered for the offences punishable u/s 364, 365, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the co-accused Mahesh Mandal, Sanju Devi, Ajay Rai and Sushil Ranjan are alleged to have threatened the husband of the informant and on 08.01.2024 at about 10:00 P.M. an unknown person called the informant's husband and he has not returned to his house. Accordingly, the F.I.R. has been lodged.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is a lady and she is not named in the FIR. It is further stated that the informant's husband (deceased) has an illicit relationship with the petitioner and her husband has taken Rs. 80,000/- from the co-accused Mahesh Mandal in the name of lease of the land and he also has given some land on lease to the co-accused Sanju Devi for Rs. 50,000/-. The land disputed was going on between the informant's husband, namely, Manoj Sharma and the co-accused persons. As per the statement of the petitioner, the co-accused Akhilesh Das @ Ajay Raj assaulted the deceased Manoj Sharma, due to which he died. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 12.01.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of
