2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections126(2), 109, 115(2), 303(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner assaulted on the head of the informant's wife causing her grievous injury.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case due to old dispute. F.I.R. has been lodged after delay of two days without any explanation which renders the entire prosecution case doubtful. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits that the petitioner caused grievous injury to the informant's wife.
