The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 304B, 201, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the prosecution case, accused persons including the petitioner herein who happens to be the father in law of the deceased are said to have abused and assaulted the niece of the informant who was ultimately done to death and the body disposed of.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner happens to be the father-in- law of the deceased. From perusal of the FIR it would transpire that the allegations are general and omnibus in nature. The main thrust of allegation is against the mother- in- law and the husband
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55260 of 2021(2) dt.05-04-2022 2/2 of the deceased. So far as the mother in law of the deceased is concerned, she has been enlarged on anticipatory bail vide order dated 24.1.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. no.17959 of 2021. The petitioner who is suffering various elements is in custody since 10.6.2021.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case together with the petitioner having remained in custody for over 7 months, chargesheet having been submitted in the case and grant of anticipatory bail to the mother in law of the deceased, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Khaira P.S. Case no. 202 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui.
