The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Belaganj P.S. Case No. 242 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Section 7 of Essential Commodities Act, 1955.

It has been submitted that petitioner was land lord of the premises which has been taken on rent by one Vivek Kumar Gupta. Vivek Kumar Gupta has already been granted anticipatory bail by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 54748 of 2016 dated 13.01.2017.

From the written report it appears that no any specific allegation of overt act has been alleged against this petitioner. In the circumstances, prayer of the petitioner for

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5001 of 2017 (2) dt.15-02-2017 2/2 anticipatory bail is allowed.

In the event of surrender/arrest of the petitioner, named above, within six weeks from today in connection with Belaganj P.S. Case No. 242 of 2016, he shall be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-Xi, Gaya, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
