2. In this case, the petitioners are seeking regular bail in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 1014 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) and 32(3) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per allegation, On 30.05.2024, the informant got a secret information about a Pick-Up carrying illicit liquor. The police stopped the vehicle near DAV School on NH-28. The petitioners were arrested while one, Sanny Kumar escaped, and 750 liters of illicit beer were seized along with the vehicle.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50001 of 2024(2) dt.22-07-2024 2/2 that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated. The petitioners are neither driver nor cleaner nor owner of the pickup Van wherefrom the alleged liquor was recovered. They are the persons of clean antecedents.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances as well as clean antecedents and also considering the period of incarceration, let the petitioners above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court of Special Judge (Excise), Court No. II, Muzaffarpur in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 1014 of 2024, subject to the following conditions:- The petitioners shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make themselves available as and when required by the court.
